Title: Python/Data Warehouse Developer

Direct Hire Position

Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new applications and services that drive core business
• Design, prototype, and develop Python services in AWS Lambdas
• Collaborate effectively across development, DevOps, project management teams, and business users
• Work within and interface with Matillion for ETL, Salesforce, and AWS Lambda environments
• Supports applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development and an in-depth understanding of Python programming/objects
• 5+ years SQL Server (or similar)
• 2+ years of cloud experience utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, AppFlow, etc.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience, prefer multiple development tool experience (e.g., Matillion for ETL, Visual Studio, Snowflake, Power BI, Git, etc.)
• Continuous Integration/Delivery experience

Preferred

• Experience in Power BI Report Development
• Matillion for ETL
• Salesforce knowledge
• Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environment (ex HIPPA)
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Position Overview

The Python/Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for designing and developing data interface solutions per user's requirements. Primary responsibilities will be working within the Data Warehouse team and writing APIs and ETL scripts to load data into Snowflake's cloud data warehouse, and interface with other systems. The ideal candidate will have four-plus years of experience in Python development utilizing Snowflake and AWS services and an understanding of working in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
