Python/Data Engineer

Role: Python/Data Engineer

Location: Reston, VA (hybrid onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Required skills:

• 6+ years of Python, SQL, PySpark.
• 4+ years of experience in building and deploying applications in AWS (EC2, S3, Glue, Batch, ECS Fargate, Dynamo DB, EMR, RDS, ELB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Redshift, Cloud Front, CloudWatch etc.).
• Experience with building RESTful Web Services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desired skills:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• AWS Developer/Solutions Architect certification(s) will be preferred.
• Unix Scripting, strong experience with Java or C++ is a plus.
• AI/Machine Learning experience will be a plus.
• CI/CD/DevOps skills (Experience with UCD, Terraform) will be a plus.
