Python/Azure Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

A Python Developer with solid experience and a deep knowledge of Azure is being sought by one of the UK's largest Energy companies. We are looking for a seasoned Python Developer with experience of developing on Azure cloud platform to include Function Apps, Data Factory, Blob Storage etc.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications (Python & ReactJS) across the business, focusing on Azure functions, APIs, and application integrations.
• Turn the product backlog into workable solutions inline with, or via change of, the system design.
• Collaborating with product owners and team members to define, develop, test, and deliver business outcomes.
• Defining, implementing, and maintaining development standards in line with specifications.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Python - developing and supporting function apps/web applications, familiarity with a microservices architecture and solid experience of building APIs & experience working with EventHub.
• Strong Experience working with Azure: Azure authentication products, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, Azure Blob storage, Azure Active Directory and App-Insights.
• Exceptional programming, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, following strict coding practice with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
• Proficiency using GIT, in-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle including the DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid experience with NoSQL (Preferably Cosmos).
• Experience in continuous improvement and operational support roles, with full end-to-end agile product delivery lifecycle experience.
• Good knowledge in ReactJS is preferable but not mandatory.
