Job Description

Python / Typescript Software Developer – Remote First (UK) - £50,000 - £60,000. A leading media organisation dedicated to informing, entertaining, and delighting audiences globally is seeking a software engineer to contribute to projects and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects to enhance communication and user experience
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support, and code reviews
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
• Work with proficiency in Python or Typescript
• Utilize Agile methodologies for project success

Key Technology Needed

• 4+ years of Python OR Typescript software development experience
• Experience working within an agile framework
• Mentoring/leadership ability
• Experience in code reviews and maintaining good software development standards
• AWS/Terraform (desirable but not mandatory)
