Python Tools Developer - System Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• 75% of this position will be dedicated to tool development utilizing homegrown tools and toolchains
• 25% of this position will be dedicated to DevOps/System Administration tasks integrating tools into the development processes
• Develop tools utilizing homegrown tools/toolchain in Python and Jenkins/Java.

Qualifications

• Excellent coding skills in Python, with a proven track record of developing tools
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps tasks, ensuring tools align with development goals
• Strong understanding of databases, with expertise in Elastic Search and/or MySQL
• Experience with Linux OS and Linux commands
• Familiarity with Makefiles is a plus
• Familiarity with C is a plus
• Familiar with Google Cloud API’s

Location: San Jose, CA (100% onsite; Relocation Assistance offered for Full-Time)

Type: Full-Time

Contract Duration: 12 – 18 months (possible extension)

Pay Rate Range: $60-75/h (DOE)
