Job Description
A Senior Developer / Programmer (5+ years exp.) is required for this rapidly expanding highly diversified Multi-Strat Hedge Fund.
You will report to the Head of Risk Technology, facing off to Trading, Risk Management and other Middle and Back office teams. You will be a key member of a small team for the build-out of Greenfield enterprise tools and applications providing the following Middle and Back office functionality for FX, Fixed Income and Commodities -
- Risk calculation and Reporting
- Trade Capture / Booking
- P&L explain
- Margin calculators
- Position Management
Compensation
Base Salary - £140k-£170k
Guaranteed Bonus - £50k-£100k
Plus Full Benefits - 10% Non-Contributory Pension
Hybrid working model 2-3 days WFH p/wk
Skills And Experience Required
Bachelor's / Master's in STEM
5+ years exp. as a Software Engineer within a leading Bank, Fund, or FinTech firm
3+ years building Middle and Back office Trading & Risk systems
Excellent Programming skills in Python, SQL, experience with C# .Net and React / Angular beneficial
Understanding of fundamentals of VaR / Shortfall Risk calculation
