The Quantitative Trading Teams

The quantitative trading teams at Jump Trading probe and examine the global markets, seeking to understand the complexities of various traded products and exchanges. They leverage their impeccable statistical analysis and data mining skills, using the results of their research to make forecasts and develop profitable predictive trading models.

What You'll Do

  • Work on a core team of technologists that build and improve the platforms that drive the trading team.
  • Create new research infrastructure in collaboration with quantitative researchers.
  • Improve the scalability of production systems in collaboration with other technologists.
  • Be a multiplier on the productivity of the entire team as the business grows.

Skills You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of professional work experience with Python on large distributed systems
  • Experience working on a Linux platform
  • Proven success working with large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of projects and responsibilities
  • Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Reliable and predictable availability

Annual Base Salary Range

$200,000—$225,000 USD
