Python Engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior Python Engineer

Due to continuing growth, we are seeking an experienced Python Engineer, ideally with a Chemistry background, to join our global engineering team. As a senior Python Engineer, you will contribute towards architecture decisions and write highly maintainable and extensible code.

Requirements

• Enjoys writing effective, scalable, and secure code.
• Is familiar with developing, testing and debugging Python 2 and 3 code using PyCharm or Visual Studio.
• Has knowledge of Python based servers or services, e.g. flask.
• Is able to develop back-end Python ‘wrappers’ to run EKS based microservices on AWS infrastructure.
• Can integrate front end (user-facing) elements into applications.
• Can assess and prioritize feature requests.
• Wants to work as part of a team, utilising your excellent problem-solving and communication skills to communicate with colleagues to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
