The Opportunity
As a Python Engineer at Objective Platform, you’ll work in a cross-functional team to create the backbone of our offering. Leveraging Big Data, we deliver marketing insights to our clients. You will be part of our Insights Squad, which is responsible for delivering high-performant dashboards and different tooling that compose our data pipeline. We expect you to be a driving force in the delivery of innovative and performant solutions and to lead by example by incentivizing the adoption of best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to design and implement scalable solutions for complex problems.
- Ensure that best practices related to the software development lifecycle are conveyed.
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements in different projects.
- Develop scalable solutions that meet the expectations of both internal and external users.
- Ensuring the integrity, availability, and scalability of large data problems.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, security, and deployment using DevOps principles.
- Provide training and documentation to support the team's understanding and use of new systems and technologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in platform modernization, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
What You'll Bring
- A passion for solving complex problems and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Knowledge of, and affinity for software development best practices.
- At least 5+ years of development experience with Python (experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas is a plus).
- Strong knowledge about creating, developing, documenting, and maintaining REST APIs.
- Solid background in working with any type of relational database and optimizing them.
- Knowledgeable about NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Experience with any could platform is highly desirable (GCP preferred).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is strongly valued.
- Strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to product managers, designers, customer support and other engineers is no problem for you.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to share knowledge and work together to achieve common goals.
