Job Opening
We are looking for an Application Software/Support Engineer with very good knowledge of Python and Pandas, for a client in the trading sector based in Lausanne.
Role Activities
- Develop and maintain small applications satisfying business requirements
- Ensure support of already developed applications, propose solutions to streamline/improve them
- Help and advise users doing development themselves, by providing your expertise and by promoting best practices
Profile Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Python. Experience with Pandas is a must.
- Knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA are appreciated
- Good experience on Software Engineering
- Hands-on experience with 1st or 2nd level support of Business-Critical Applications
Additional Skills
Experience in Linux and Windows administration, writing SQL queries, Java, AWS Cloud Services, Bash scripting, and Full Stack development is appreciated. C#, Selenium, Outlook VBA can be useful but not mandatory. Personality traits include being able to work under pressure, result-oriented, having an analytical mindset permitting to quickly identify and fix issues encountered, able to support a shift between in 7am and 6pm, and flexible to stay late in case of exceptional issues. Languages: Good English Skills, French and/or German a plus. Collaborative environment that emphasizes a healthy climate in the team.

- 1 or 2 days of remote work after 3 months of mission
