Python Developer/Programmer/Analyst- SC Security- Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat
Python Developer/Programmer/Analyst with extensive knowledge of Python programming is needed to work with our secure government client to design, code, test, correct and document large and/or complex Python programmes and modifications from supplied specifications on a critical programme. The Python Developer/Programmer/Analys will be tasked with designing the content and appearance of complex web pages in collaboration with clients/users; create and test web pages with the specified content and layout, and develop web interfaces to new or existing applications; Analyse data requirements to establish, modify or maintain object/data models; evaluate potential solutions; demonstrate, install and commission products selected; Python Developer/Programmer/Analyst- SC Security- Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive knowledge of Python programming language.
- Technical knowledge in Python 3.10 or higher, Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat
- Experience of SAN/backup Storage, VMware platforms and TCP/IP Network Knowledge.
- Agile & ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience;
- Microsoft/Linux role-based certification and any relevant product certifications.
- Knowledge of database concepts, object and Datamodelling techniques and design principles and of database architectures, software and facilities;
- Substantial experience in relevant roles, including technologies in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment.
- Experience of data engineering, manipulation, testing and prototyping.
- Experience of Asset and configuration management.
- Skilled in User-centred design with the ability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data.
- Capability to draft/author professional/technical documents; Interpret professional/technical documents.
- Current SC Security Clearance or the ability to undergo clearance having been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last five years.
