JOB SUMMARY

Oceans Code Experts seeks talented individuals for the role of Python Developer. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and deploy backend solutions independently or in collaboration with a small development team.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and create Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for client demonstration in an agile manner.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to fulfill project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to grasp project goals and translate them into technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability and performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Proficiency in Front-End technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of Python (Django), SQL (Postgres), AWS services (S3, Fargate, ElastiCache, RDS), Terraform, Athena, Step Functions, and Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of AWS, CloudFront, and load balancers.
• Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models.
• Proficiency in designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems.
• Experience with scaling to handle large data sets.
• Effective communication and influence skills at a senior engineer level.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodology.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence team members and business partners at a senior engineer level.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices.

NICE TO HAVE

• Java.
• Containers Terraform, Docker.
• Previous experience with Portals.
• Adhering to SDLC.
• Flutter experience.
• Consulting experience strongly preferred.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
