In fact, we have just secured a 2.5m euro funding from the EU EIC Accelerator, a prestige program for promising energy startups. With a team of 30, we are rapidly building Europe's most advanced platform, recalibrating electric vehicle drivers, their cars, charging points, and the grid in a sustainable eco-system. We believe that this market needs to grow quickly, and that with the right team, our clients and EV drivers can be happier, businesses more profitable, and society cleaner.

To ensure we can charge millions of electric vehicles simultaneously, we are looking for a Python Developer for our offices in either Arnhem or Berlin.
Job Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development:
- Design and implement forecasting algorithms to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our virtual powerplant.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate algorithms seamlessly into our existing systems (incl. consumer APP)
- Data Processing and Analysis:
- Implement data processing scripts to handle real-time data from charging stations, electric vehicles, and grid sources.
- Analyze data to improve system performance, user experience, and provide valuable insights.
- Code Quality and Testing:
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address software bugs and issues.
- Innovation and Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in EV charging and smart grid solutions.
- Propose and implement innovative features to enhance our smart charging platform.
Qualifications
A skilled python developer has a mix of abilities, qualities, and know-how as listed in the tasks you will be doing. These skills help them connect what the business needs with the right IT solutions effectively. We would love to hear great stories about your previous projects!
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on algorithm development.
