JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Python Developer who has expertise in Vertex, Google Cloud's platform for managing tax-related data.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based applications and integrations, with a focus on leveraging Vertex for tax calculation and compliance purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and integrations
• Utilize Vertex to manage tax-related data and calculations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in tax technology

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience with Vertex and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong understanding of tax-related processes and regulations
• Familiarity with API integration and web services
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, such as Java or JavaScript
• Certifications in Python programming or relevant technologies
