Leading Hedge Fund provider revolutionising the industry (that's a big word, but they are)! are seeking a Mid Level Python Engineer. That can be either a Junior Engineer with 2-3 years experience (and a Computer Science degree) seeking their first Mid Level role, or an established Mid Level Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Python.
Requirements
We are seeking someone who's an evangelist for cutting edge Agile (XP) and Product techniques. Ideally, you will advocate typing as a tool to complement TDD, balancing quality and delivery pragmatically. You employ CI/CD by default and are curious about DDD, exploring how it can influence your architectures and particularly as we embrace Event Driven.
We are seeking someone enthusiastic and innovative but also friendly, humble and with a calm temperament. Hungry for your next challenge, and keen to lean about Hedge Funds / Private Equity as well as the financial industry more generally.
Responsibilities
- Python programming to consolidate the foundational V1 of our Core Product and work with our industry experts to discover and deliver the emerging V2
- Working closely with our Senior and Lead Developers and growing up through the ranks internally
- Transitioning towards our new multi-tenant architectures & embedded platform security
