Python Developer - Hedge Fund Operations

Job Opportunity: Python Developer (Hedge Fund)

Top multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund headquartered in New York is looking to hire a talented python developer to focus on the back/middle office area of the business. This position will focus on hedge fund operations and middle office functions such as P&L, post-trade processing, compliance technology, and collateral management. The ideal candidate will be able to write robust code and APIs, with the ability to balance the delivery of short-term results and investment in longer-term strategic solutions. Good communication skills to liaise with an array of stakeholders will be key.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a similar software development role
• An automation oriented mindset
• Strong Python skills, and good experience with relational databases/SQL
• Hedge fund experience particularly as it relates to the back-office / post-trade side of the business
• Experience working in a predominantly Linux environment

This is a full-time, hybrid position, based in NYC. Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience.
