Join Us as our Python Developer!
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Python Developers to join our Cyber Security organization.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining software systems using Python, Django, SQL, Bash, Javascript, and other related technologies.
- Expanding and maintaining Django web applications, building Plotly Dash-based visualizations, and developing Python-based ETL applications.
- Researching emerging technologies and helping manage server infrastructure.
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Identifying areas for improvement, implementing new features, and optimizing performance.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and applying them to software systems.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Python development experience (including Django and Plotly Dash) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, Agile methodologies, version control, and testing.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software systems.
- Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript and HTML5.
- Experience with Linux-based infrastructure, secure coding principles, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
