Python Developer with Code Optimization and Hardware Optimization at Elastic

Programming Skills

• Understanding of Object Oriented programming languages
• Python proficiency is required
• Background in code optimization and/or hardware optimization strongly preferred
• Web programming experience in JavaScript, React library, and related technologies is a plus
• Building of applications, tools, reports, and associated unit tests in Python
• Investigating code performance, hardware utilization, and job management to maximize resource efficiency
• Active participation in team development processes & ceremonies
• Understanding/Knowledge of large-scale application infrastructure technologies including databases, middleware, batch schedulers, grids, etc
• Code optimization in Python
• Experience with ELK stack and programmatic interaction with Elastic
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems quickly and effectively
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI tooling
• Ability to work independently and manage concurrent tasks
