Job Description

• Position: Python Developer with AWS
• Work Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
• Requirements:
  • All jobs are US based
  • Candidates must be in the US with valid US Work Authorization
  • 3 days onsite required per week
  • 7-8 years experience in Python
  • 2-3 years experience in building SAAS platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Databases, especially MongoDB
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Total experience of 9 to 12 years
  • Extensive experience with at least two of the following languages: Python, Java, C, C++, C#, Go
  • Experience with document-oriented database products like MongoDB, MarkLogic, DocumentDB
  • Practical experience in developing applications on major public cloud providers
  • Industry cloud certifications are a bonus
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
  • Experience with unit-testing frameworks & BDD/TDD
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and/or Salt
  • Understanding and experience of Agile and Lean philosophies
  • Experience with Python frameworks like Django/Flask
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Passion for helping customers and great documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
