Cullerton Group Opportunity for Python Developer

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Python Developer (Analyst/ Developer - Specialty 4) in Chicago, Peoria, or Colorado. The work will be done remotely. This is a long-term contract that can lead to permanent employment with the customer. Compensation is $135,000/yr including benefits such as vision, dental, health insurance, 401K, and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship. We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a focus on Python development to support our Electrification and Site/Supplier Chain simulation and optimization projects. This role is pivotal in working alongside our dedicated team of developers and data scientists and engaging with external stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software for electrification initiatives.
• Contribute to simulation software enhancements and feature development.
• Analyze project requirements to estimate timeframes and resources.
• Collaborate daily with both internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years with a Master's/Ph.D.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data processing (NumPy, pandas) and visualization tools (matplotlib, Plotly).
• Strong skills in SQL, Git, AWS, and Azure. Knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
