The Energy Transition needs you as a Python Developer

As a Medior/Senior Python Back-end Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the department System Operations, contributing to the development and management of applications and APIs that handle vast amounts of measurement and forecast data. You’ll work closely with other Python developers in the team, supported by digital infrastructure experts, software architects, and data scientists to ensure that the applications are functional and meet our coding standards.

These applications play a crucial role in the efficient use and safety of the electricity grid, including the management of EV-car charging stations, wind turbines, and solar power stations. We contribute to the energy transition, for everyone, with everyone. And as Python developer you can take your part in this transition. Your role involves: Analyzing and optimizing database structures and queries to allow high throughput and enable persistence of large amounts of measurement data; Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop REST APIs and Event-Driven interfaces using Kafka, capable of processing large datasets; Writing clean and reusable Python code that aligns with our commitment to code quality; Ensuring software quality through unit- and integration testing; Optimizing application performance, maintain software quality- and deployment pipelines and engage in technical discussions to address and meet design requirements. Better Organised for You

Based on a 38-hour working week, you will receive: A gross monthly salary of € 3.994 to € 6.679; An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary. You can use your personal budget for purchasing extra days off or have it paid every month as extra salary. In December you’ll receive an end-of-year bonus of 5.94% of your gross annual salary.
