with one of our prime clients for a position of Python Developer to work in PITTSBURGH, PA OR LAKE MARY, FL on Hybrid basis.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Python development, with expertise in API development and a strong understanding of working in a public cloud environment. The candidate should also possess knowledge of version control systems such as GIT, project management tools like Jira, and have experience working with the Linux operating system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software solutions using Python programming language.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Develop APIs and integrate with external web services.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in API development.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly GIT.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
