Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Python code for financial applications.
• Analyze and process financial data using Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
• Device Snowflake SQL queries to materialize reporting and integration in python processing.
• Build data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
• Utilize Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning) for data analysis and model deployment.
• Work closely with data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code robustness and maintainability.

Qualifications and Bonus Points

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience developing software with Python in a financial services context (a plus).
• Prior experience working in the financial industry, specifically credit.
• Strong experience with data analysis using Python libraries and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Machine Learning (a plus).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborative work environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with relational databases/SQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for building high-quality software and delivering impactful results.
• Experience with machine learning and data science techniques (bonus).
• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud deployments (bonus).

Location and Contact

Location: New York (Onsite – 5 days in a week)
Mode of Hiring: Full Time
Shift Timing: 9AM – 6PM
