Job Description:
- Developers that can really help us know Python in version 2.X to 3.9, have worked in platform environments and have good code development practices.
- A bonus for us to move forward with is someone who also has Java and Spring Boot experience, or similar, as we are converting to that Platform.
- This will support the PSSE (SIEMENS) POWER FLOW APP PRO MOD WHICH IS THE ECONOMIC % APP
- BOTH APPS PRODUCE MASS Amounts OF DATA THAT ARE USED FOR THEIR MEMBERS AS WELL AS ALL REGULATORY REPORTING (IE NERC AND OTHER ENERGY REGULATORS)
- Will be consolidating 2 systems that have a ton of built in automation via Python. This is a 1.5 year cap project / initially they need help with the hands on keys heads down python code writing process/ procedures and resolving ugs
- Eventually there will be the oppy to help with design of new platform if that is a strength of their but for now its heads down python coding
- Ready to start moving to a microservices platform with is on stack of Java Spring boot
- This is an Agile environment using Jira
