My client is currently going through a scale-up process and is at the heart of innovation for developing ingenious ways of integrating health and genomic data to unravel new ways of treating diseases and improving health for people across the world! My client is seeking an AWS Backend Engineer specialist with Python who's looking to make a difference in the world. The ideal candidate must have a passion for problem-solving, experience with App development, and GraphQL.
Position Overview
As an AWS Backend Engineer, your pivotal role will encompass the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of my client's backend infrastructure hosted on AWS. This opportunity calls for an influential partnership with multifaceted teams to optimize performance, dependability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Create scalable backend structures leveraging serverless and containerization tech.
- Specialist in AWS Services: Wield an arsenal of AWS services including Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB or similar tech to forge potent backend frameworks.
- Data Storage and Retrieval: Orchestrate data storage and retrieval systems, underpinning data accuracy and speedy access.
- Microservices Architecture: Drive the microservices architecture forward, ensuring a modular ecosystem that stands the test of time and change.
- Performance Optimization: Improve backend optimizations for a triad of performance, scalability, and fiscal prudence.
- Security & Compliance: Embed and uphold top-tier security and regulatory practices within AWS backend constructs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Sync your technical prowess with frontend maestros and DevOps artisans to create a concord of frontend-backend harmony.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an allied discipline.
- Verifiable tenure as an Backend Engineer with a focus on AWS.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong proficiency in AppSync and GraphQL is your badge of honor.
- Adept with serverless computing and containerization staples like AWS Lambda and Docker.
- A deep-seated familiarity with AWS service suite ingrained in backend engineering.
- Database acuity, from design to fine-tuning, with tools like AWS databases.
- Mastery of microservices architecture and fluency in RESTful API design.
