Role: Python Developer

Location: Reston, VA (2 days/week onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Description:
Need someone with a strong foundation in Python, PySpark, EMR, SQL, Infrastructure service, SRE - Observability (don’t need all of those).

Skills required:

• Engineering / Coding skills in Python (create Lambda’s, invoke changes) and Troubleshooting skills (Issues related to AWS services performance are escalated to this team).
• Python – Strong coding skills. Write Python scripts to execute AWS Lambda functions – write Python scripts / push scripts.
  Python scripts sits on Lambda functions in AWS.
• Strong AWS skills, required, includes Lambda, EMR, SNS, SQS, S3, Step Functions, Glue etc.
• Write Python logic to implement functionality in AWS. Write Python code for any manual tasks performed during Dev, Test, Prod.
• Python Scripting using Boto3 libraries to create Lambda functions.
• Solid experience with Python coding is required.
• Communicate well with all stakeholders.
• Able to Document and follow documented requirements.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
