Hybrid

Our client is looking for a Python Developer to join an established team of consultants. This team works with a federal client to develop Python/Django applications. This is a highly flexible hybrid role requiring in-office work only twice a month.

Responsibilities

• Create public RESTful APIs
• Work with both backend (80%) and frontend (20%) code
• Create data pipelines
• Provide innovative ideas for development, performance improvement, process improvement, and testing
• Work independently and alongside your team
• Mentor more junior colleagues
• Participate in code reviews
• Juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines

Experience/Technologies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
• 6+ years of professional experience with Python and Django
• Experience building APIs and microservices
• Experience with AWS
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing in an Agile environment
• Experience with ETL processes and data workflows/pipelines
