Python Developer - Middle and Back Office - Commodity Trading - £90,000 - 3 days per week in Office

Company Overview

Cititec Talent are currently working with a global commodities trading company that has been a pioneer in the industry and has grown from a boutique player to a top 5 powerhouse. They are looking for a skilled Python Developer who will join the middle and back office and will play a critical role in the firm's technological evolution.

Responsibilities

• Spearheading new development projects across middle and back office operations
• Leveraging strong software engineering principles to drive innovation and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years software development experience
• Expertise in Python programming
• Data analysis & data manipulation using Pandas
• Strong proficiency in FAST APIs for building APIs & SQL Alchemy for database interactions
• Strong experience in cloud-based development (AWS)
• Proficiency with both Docker & Kubernetes for containerization & orchestration
• Experience working in Commodities, Trading, or Financial Services markets
• Experience in implementing solid software engineering practice
