Are you a talented and experienced Python developer who can build and maintain solutions for the financial/energy markets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions
• Processing, analyzing, and providing access to large volumes of data
• Collaborating with other squads and stakeholders
• Providing technical guidance and code reviews
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues

Technical Skills

• Python and its ecosystem of libraries and frameworks for data processing, analysis, and visualization
• SQL and Timeseries databases
• Cloud AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.)
• ETL tools like Airflow
• Git, CI/CD, testing tools
• Supporting documentation and best practices
• Best practices and tooling including TDD, BDD

Domain and Soft Skills

• Experience with office trading systems & financial market data
• Scaling data processing and analytics
• Coaching junior staff
• Delivering innovative solutions while engaging with key business and technology stakeholders
• Providing strong collaborative technical leadership to your team
