Job Description

We're in search of a seasoned Python developer to actualize the microservices architecture for the middleware of our clients digital twin SaaS platform. Ideal candidate will be proficient in "full stack" Python, event-driven data pipelines, and database experience. You'll collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and our clients sales teams to ensure the timely delivery of a top-tier product.

Our client is particularly keen on candidates with expertise in harnessing AI services and who can integrate their knowledge of design patterns and systems thinking into their development approach.

Salary

£70,000 - 75,000

Location

United Kingdom (Fully Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Taking charge of the development of the following:
  • Data integrations to sensors, systems, databases and microservices.
  • Microservices that generate, consume and manipulate data.
  • Workflows incorporating AI that streamline the building, interaction, and understanding of system components and data.
  • Implementing and managing databases.
  • Recommending and implementing appropriate technologies throughout growth.
  • Improving efficiency through applying tools and new methods.

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in Python, along with familiarity with popular frameworks (such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI) and their application in microservices.
  • Well versed in crafting, developing, and deploying Microservices-driven applications; service discovery, load balancing, fault tolerance, and scaling methodologies.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems.
  • Well grounded with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Dgraph and Neo4j or any similar technologies as well as their seamless integration with microservices.
