Skills and Responsibilities

7+ years in software engineering, with experience building distributed systems.
You strive to build solutions that are valued by developers and have an experience-based understanding of what that means.
You have experience in an agile development environment with modern programming languages and technologies such any of the following: Golang, Java/Spring Boot, Python, Kotlin, Scala or similar.
You have a strong working knowledge of distributed systems, Rest APIs, streaming and message queueing systems (Kafka etc.).
You enjoy working together on scalable systems, embracing new technologies, and pushing the boundaries of the art of the possible to solve hard problems.
You may even have expertise in ˜Big Data™ technologies, and the demands of data engineering.
Ideally you'll have experience in implementing cloud-native applications using open and closed source standards and solutions including Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, and public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
You have an active curiosity and eagerness to learn.
