- Job Title: Python Developer
- Location(s): Richmond VA, Mclean VA, New York, NY
- Schedule: Hybrid - (onsite 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday)
- Contract Length: 12 months+
Role Description
Develop in Python and use a variety of technologies including AWS, DevOps and SRE practices. Utilize oral and written communication skills to share and align on technical designs. Demonstrate urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion, all while tracking towards bigger OKRs. Balance strategy and tactical delivery of software solutions. Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community. Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
Required Qualifications
- Python Development Experience: 6–8 years of Backend Python Development
- Coding Proficiency: 10/10
- AWS Skills: proficient in AWS services
- Specifically adept in AWS Step Functions
- Strong experience with AWS Lambdas
