Python Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Python. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts, deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualification

• At least 4 or more years of experience in advanced Python skills to design, develop, implement, and enhance an organization's systems and software.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in any of scripting languages JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, etc.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Agile.
• Knowledge of ceremonies.
• No-SQL database experience in Mongo DB.
• Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document-based No-SQL DBs – MongoDB.
• Good knowledge about CI/CD Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Additionally, knowledge of following technologies would be an advantage:

• Kafka
• REST
• Jira
• Confluence
• GCP/Anthos/Kubernetes with Docker containers
