Job Description

As a Python Developer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of their product & platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions. This opportunity is a hybrid position working 2 days a week in office 3 days from home. (You can work as much in office as you would want). The client are also only searching Swedish speaking developers for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Python and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
