Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract (W2 Only)
Note: Need Candidate from Eastern Time Zone & Central Time Zone Only.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building a system with a global impact on financial markets
• Work in an Agile technology team with DEV/QA/PO teams
• Develop backend in Python for a data calculations engine
• Maintain high standards for code quality and performance

Requirements

• Python expert with object-oriented programming expertise
• Enjoy solving complex technical challenges
• Detail-oriented with a focus on mathematical calculations
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Take ownership of project parts and strive for system improvement
• Comfortable working in large enterprise organizations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Solid understanding of financial markets

Technical Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong object-oriented design skills
• Proficient in Python versions 3.9+
• Experience with Pandas and Numpy
• Creating command line interface tools (CLI)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes, preferably Jenkins
• Building distributed Python packages and containerized applications
• AWS cloud infrastructure experience
