You Are
We are currently looking for a Python front end developer. A successful candidate will need to have strong end-to-end web application experience.
The Opportunity
- Working on legal applications and data software
- Interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
- Code, debug, test, document and communicate product, component, and feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives, integrating and commissions the overall solution.
- Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts.
- Optimizes efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need
- Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Flask as well as expert in middle-tier backend technologies.
- Must have strong MySQL Database skills as well with experience with Stored procedures, and queries.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to deliver high quality products and solutions on time and budget.
- Self-starter who can own tasks and run with them from end to end.
- Strong skills in web application programming (e.g. database applications, session handling, content management, personalization).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance).
- Must be able to create and maintain clear, concise, and well-constructed documentation.
- Ability to evaluate different design, implementation and architectural choices, and select the appropriate platform.
Desired
- Other libraries (xlwt, PyMySQL, PyCrypto, Django OAuth)
- Experience in LAMP, Flask Web Framework and object oriented concepts like overloading, polymorphism
- Experience interacting directly with client and vendors.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence) is a plus.
