Job Description

Ansible automation engineer
Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements, design automation solutions, and create, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles.
Maintain a strategic plan for centralizing Ansible automation and update the centralized inventory of managed hosts and resources.
Implement security best practices for Ansible, including credential and secrets management.
Execute the duties and responsibilities as a member of the Automation Engineer and Migration technologies.
Develop Ansible playbooks and modules.
Work collaboratively with the GITM engineering team to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure environment.
Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration, and provide SME level support.
Provide technical support to Ops concerning automation solution usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed.
Solid knowledge of the Python programming language.
CSS, HTML, and JavaScript or CScript.
Understanding of Bladelogic and purpose of JIL file.
Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Basic Knowledge of Java.
Familiarity with Python Libraries.
