Job Description

We are looking for a proactive hands-on developer for the Proxy Pricer Technology team. The team provides streaming, real-time pricing, and hedging services for the ETF Trading Desk. The work will directly impact the P&L and profitability of the Equities ETF market making business in North America and Europe. This team's responsibility includes the design, build and support of the platform. The work requires close collaboration with our front office partners from trading and quantitative research.

Responsibilities

• Front office developer in the Proxy Pricer technology team
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Trading Desk, Quant Research, and the data/infrastructure teams. They will be developing the pricing platform and visualization components required by the desk.

Essential skills

• Full stack development in Python with strong Pandas and Numpy experience.
• Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving).
• A solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.
• Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts, and technologies.
• Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices.

Desirable skills

• Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services.
• Some TypeScript (React) experience will be beneficial.
