Job Description

ING is looking for an excellent Python Dev Engineer with focus on design/development skills who would like to work in a challenging environment with a lot of change. The Transaction Reporting family is charged with the oversight and steering of the ING’s trade and transaction reporting to ensure that the reporting is complete, accurate and timely. This position is to build a new application from scratch (a.k.a OrangeBox) as part of the Transaction Reporting Transformation program, using latest technologies as per the market standards with focus on CI/CD and Test automation.

Your education and background

• Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Masters degree
• 8+ years of Data and/or software engineering and development experience including design and automation
• Experience in Python and related frameworks
• Expertise in Oracle database (SQL and PL/SQL) development
• DevOps knowledge is good to have: CI/CD concepts, Azure DevOps is preferred
• Good understanding of Test automation/BDD concepts
• Knowledge of Java is a plus
• Knowledge of Kafka topics for Data integration/ingestion is a plus
• Knowledge of Linux(RHEL) and Windows servers
• Proven track record in data environment with regards to data quality, data flows, data consistency, and data lineage
• Experience in Banking industry, preferably Financial Markets Transaction Reporting
