Python Data Engineer

Job Description

Python Data Engineer IN Columbus, OH (All new fresh roles) (USC, GC, GC EAD only), 4 openings

• 1 mid-level min 3-5 years exp.
• 2 senior level min. 5-7+ years exp.

Requirements

• Python or Java is required
• Must be good with Microservices and API’s
• Preference to hire is Python with Data background, Java is secondary
• Lots of SQL involved, setting up data pipelines, etc
• Must be very strong in SQL
• Working with data transformation tools
• Moving data out of system of record, setting up pipeline
• Hands-on ETL experience required (Informatica and Tableau)
• Big plus to have Tableau - preference will be given
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing Concepts
• AWS cloud experience needed (Redshift or Snowflake preferred)
• Spark/Scala experience a great plus
• Working with Spark on Cloud
• Working with Containers/Kubernetes
