Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong Python background to work on developing technologies for transportation clients. The ideal candidate should have 5-10+ years of experience in Python, Computer Science, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Big Data, and Relational Databases.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ Years of Experience in Software Development
• Python, Computer Science BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or similar
• Expertise with OOP, Algorithms, Data Structures
• Experience with Massive Datasets (4 Billion+ Rows), APIS, data querying, databases
• Experience in Distributed Computing, Pyxll Package, SQL, relational databases
• Knowledge of AWS, Scraping, Agile Software Development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in data management modeling and deployment
• Ability to abstract concepts and think in terms of OO design
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
