Python/AWS Front Office Developer

Job Opportunity: Investment Management - Front Office Development

Location: Midtown Atlanta

Relocation: Full paid relocation

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (choose days per week), Unlimited PTO

Compensation: $140k - $160k, Exceptional Benefits

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Implement automated data integration processes
• Build framework for data validation
• Create integrations with 25+ third-party vendor products (trading, risk, etc.)
• Develop accounting analytics system to advance analysis and reporting capabilities

Proprietary, Scalable Solutions For

• Separately managed accounts including custom tax-managed equities, fixed income, and traditional models
• Comprehensive portfolio management capabilities such as construction, optimization, trade modeling, and rebalancing equities portfolios
• Collaboration with front office (traders, portfolio managers with development skills)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 or more years of enterprise software development
• Proficiency in designing, developing & improving data-intensive applications using Python
• Knowledge of cloud-native principles like AWS, serverless architecture, lambda
• Experience with unit testing, TDD, Git, SQL, NoSQL
• Ability to clearly communicate approach, process, and results in a front-facing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Responsibility, integrity, and passion for work
• Willingness to interact, share ideas, and work collaboratively
• BS or MS in computer science or related field preferred
