The Role
As a Product Verification and Test Engineer you will be a member of the Engineering team focusing on test verification and automation of both current and next Positioning test solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and perform complex test procedures in both current and next Positioning solutions.
- Generate and update technical documentation.
- Generate test automation scripts.
- Work with Automation team to analyse, recommend, manage and implement automation improvements.
- Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions to complex problems.
- Be able to work in a structured and methodical manner.
- Skilled level of MS Office applications.
Education
BA, BEng or HND in appropriate Engineering discipline.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a Product Verification and Test environment.
- Experience in programming/design/Scripting including Labview, Matlab, Python, and with Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in using lab test equipment, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and RF power meters etc.
- Knowledge of phase modulation (BPSK, QPSK, etc.), spread spectrum, signal detection, signal and interference analysis, baseband filtering, data formatting, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
- Team player with a highly collaborative and positive attitude.
- Eager to learn new technologies, self-motivated, energetic approach.
Desired
- Knowledge of digital communications, RF system analysis, FEC coding, and communications engineering.
- Demonstrable technical understanding of GNSS and related technology.
- Automation using engineering test equipment.
- Git/Git Hub experience.
- Pytest Experience.
