Principal Software Engineer (Executive Director Level)

  • Provide expertise and engineering excellence as an integral part of an agile team.
  • Enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
  • Leverage advanced technical capabilities and collaborate with colleagues to drive best-in-class outcomes.
  • Deep experience required in Python, AWS, and ML models.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, reviews and debugs code written by others.
  • Influences technology stakeholders for enhanced integration and product designs.
  • Serves as the function’s subject matter expert.
  • Contributes to the development of technical patterns for advanced data science/ML implementations.
  • Creates durable, reusable software frameworks for cross-team leverage.
  • Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
  • Champions diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the firm’s culture.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with practical experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes.
  • Experience in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
  • Managing software engineers and ensuring SDLC discipline.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leaders and Executives.
  • Understanding of the business and practical cloud native experience.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Experience in Finance Domain (specifically in Planning & Analytics).
  • Strong presentation and evaluation skills.
  • Expertise in business analysis, functional requirements, and data analysis disciplines.
