Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate, hands-on Principal Python Developer to play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our product. As a critical member of our R&D team, you will not only be responsible for delivering top-tier code quality but also for driving innovation, implementing best practices, and mentoring a dynamic team of developers as we navigate the ever-evolving startup environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and maintain high-quality, robust Python code.
- Participates actively in decision-making processes, contributing to architecture design and technology research.
- Mentor and guide other developers to foster their professional growth.
- Lead initiatives to continuously review and elevate internal code quality standards.
- Tackle diverse and complex problems related to scale, performance, and business logic.
- Report directly to VP R&D.
- 8+ years of proven hands-on experience in backend development
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python
- Strong experience with Linux and cloud providers.
- Hands-on experience with Relational Databases.
- In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, including SRP, Encapsulation, SoC, and practical implementation strategies.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum software development, including sprint participation.
- Django web framework- an advantage.
- Dynamic problem-solving approach with a demonstrated ability to create a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written English.
