Principal Python Developer

The Opportunity

This person will be a technical leader offering support and guidance to the business through strong Python development, data lake architecture, and big data solutions.

• They will lead the design, development, and deployment of Python-based applications.
• Working on data warehouse/data lake solutions with SnowFlake, or Clickhouse (other tools welcomed).
• Potential migration to the cloud, with this person supporting that transition and what it would look like (i.e. Half on the cloud and Half on-prem).
• Helping improve software solutions and tech best practice.

The business has an exciting product roadmap that is continually evolving as their customer base expands, which means that scalability is a big priority for the team and will be a focus of the role.

The Candidate

This person will be well versed in Python Development and have used it extensively for several years.

• They will need experience with big data/data lake solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar applications for future containerization is ideal.
• Experience in the Crypto/Blockchain space is also ideal.

Location

This is a remote role, and the candidate can be based across Europe (excluding France And Netherlands).
