Platform Engineer

We are hiring for Platform Engineer for our client's project based at Glasgow, Scotland

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in one of the programming languages - Python, Java, Scala and Spark.
• Proven Experience Distributed Systems, Data Engineering Products/Platforms like Snowflake/Databricks, Spark, Airflow etc.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS/Azure).
• DevOps practices - GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Strong interest in DataOps/MLOps

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong evidence of Data Engineering work.
• Experience with Snowflake/Databricks, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, understanding of Data products/data pipelines.
