.NET Developer with GIS and Python

Position: .Net Developer

Location: JOHNSTON, Rhode Island

Hiring: Full-time position

Responsibilities

• Construct code and unit tests in C#, Python, or Javascript
• Collaborate with the dev lead on technical design direction
• Participate in technical refinement ceremonies
• Create automated tests for features
• Release code for review and publishing

Skills/Knowledge

• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented business application design and development
• Proficiency in Python 3 and geospatial toolsets
• Experience with Javascript and software library packages
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, data structures, and design patterns
• Understanding of design patterns and structural code
• Experience in Unit Testing frameworks and Version Control tools
• Self-motivated to stay ahead of development technologies

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with creating and releasing software libraries
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks
• Experience with GIS tools and automated testing tools like Selenium and Cypress
• Familiarity with GraphQL technologies
