As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking technology team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

About the Role

• Executing creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Developing secure high-quality production code and reviewing and debugging code written by others
• Identifying opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues

Responsibilities

• Conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions
• Leading evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams
• Leading communities of practice across Software Engineering

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Advanced knowledge of application architecture, design principles, CI/CD, and best practices
• High proficiency in developing Python based applications and knowledge of Python data analytics libraries
