Team Description
We are a passionate, agile, and hands-on team innovating solutions for Capital One U.S. credit card customer servicing. This team is on an ambitious and pioneering journey to modernize our platform, building serverless highly resilient microservices and Data streaming to support cutting edge real-time data processing and intelligent experiences for the customers that Capital one serves. Our Tech stack uses the latest serverless patterns and application architectures. Our core technology competencies are in Python, Pyspark, Java, JS, and AWS
What You’ll Do
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, Pysprak, SQL, Node, and Scala
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering with at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
